Foreground, in partnership with an established organization, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to drive financial governance and strategic leadership across a multi-entity group. The role demands a hands-on executive focused on clarity, accountability, and long-term value creation.

As CFO, you will oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting, strengthening financial infrastructure and ensuring robust controls and timely insight for decision-making.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years as CFO or Deputy CFO.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Experience leading full-cycle ERP implementation.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, governance, and regulatory experience.
• Treasury management and banking relationships expertise.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.

Foreground is partnering with an established organization to appoint a Chief Financial Officer. This is a senior leadership opportunity with a mandate to strengthen financial governance, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term business growth.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership, the CFO will oversee the organization’s finance function, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, the effectiveness of internal controls, and sound financial management across its operations.

The CFO will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated reporting, while driving improvements in finance processes, systems, and governance. A key priority will be strengthening the organization’s financial infrastructure and ensuring that technology supports timely reporting and informed decision-making.

As a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, the CFO will guide capital allocation, manage banking relationships and funding requirements, and shape long-term financial strategy. The role requires a leader who combines strategic judgment with a hands-on approach to execution.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should bring at least 15 years of progressive finance experience, including a minimum of five years as CFO or Deputy CFO within a complex, multi-entity organization. A recognized professional qualification, such as CPA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, is required.

Experience contributing to a full-cycle ERP implementation is essential, with involvement spanning requirements definition, process design, implementation, go-live, and post-implementation optimization.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of IFRS, financial governance, and applicable tax and regulatory requirements, alongside a proven track record in treasury management, structuring credit facilities, and managing banking relationships.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to translate financial insights into clear business decisions. Full professional fluency in Arabic and English is required.
