Job summary

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership and 5+ as CFO or Finance Director.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, ACA, or CGMA are required.
• Experience with multinational operations and project-based finance across countries; GCC/MENA is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, treasury, taxation, audit, and reporting.
• Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, debt facilities, and investments.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to CEO, leadership, and board of directors.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, modelling and performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal governance.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Drive profitability across business units and countries and mentor the finance team.
• Support commercial negotiations, contract reviews, pricing, and business planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial functions including accounting budgeting treasury taxation audit and financial reporting
• Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives
• Manage cash flow working capital banking relationships debt facilities and investment activities
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO executive management and Board of Directors
• Lead budgeting forecasting financial modelling and performance analysis activities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations standards and internal governance requirements
• Support mergers acquisitions partnerships joint ventures and other strategic initiatives
• Drive financial discipline and profitability across multiple business units and countries
• Lead mentor and develop a high-performing finance organization
• Support commercial negotiations contract reviews pricing strategies and business planning activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
• MBA or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred
• Minimum 20 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 10 years in senior finance leadership roles and 5 years serving as CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent executive finance position
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, ACA, or CGMA is required
• CFA and MBA qualifications are considered advantageous
• Demonstrated experience serving as Chief Financial Officer or Finance Director role for organizations with large annual revenues and operations across multiple countries
• Proven track record in managing financial operations for project-based businesses involving complex contract structures, large-scale cash flow management, project profitability analysis, and international financial reporting requirements
• Strong experience in multinational and technology-driven organizations
• Experience within telecommunications, engineering, technology, consulting, infrastructure, or project-based businesses is highly desirable
• Extensive knowledge of corporate finance, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Experience working within the GCC/MENA region
• Strong understanding of international finance and cross-border operations
• Advanced analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills with the ability to influence executive management and boards
• Experience with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and financial modelling
• Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory
