Job summary

Client of Foreground seeks a seasoned CFO to lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and sound financial management across multi-entity operations.

The role will drive FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated reporting, while improving finance processes, systems and governance to strengthen the financial infrastructure for timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• 15+ years progressive finance experience.
• Minimum 5 years as CFO or Deputy CFO in a complex multi-entity org.
• CPA/CFA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• ERP implementation experience across full cycle: requirements, design, go‑live, optimization.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and financial governance, tax/regulatory familiarity.
• Treasury management and banking relationships expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the finance function and ensure integrity of financial reporting and internal controls.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and consolidated reporting.
• Drive improvements in finance processes, systems and governance.
• Strengthen financial infrastructure and ensure technology enables timely reporting.
• Guide capital allocation, manage banking relationships and funding needs.
• Partner with CEO and Board to shape long-term financial strategy.
• Translate financial insights into clear business decisions.

The Role

Reporting to senior leadership the CFO will oversee the organization s finance function ensuring the integrity of financial reporting the effectiveness of internal controls and sound financial management across its operations The CFO will lead financial planning budgeting forecasting and consolidated reporting while driving improvements in finance processes systems and governance A key priority will be strengthening the organization s financial infrastructure and ensuring that technology supports timely reporting and informed decision‑making As a strategic partner to the CEO and Board the CFO will guide capital allocation manage banking relationships and funding requirements and shape long‑term financial strategy The role requires a leader who combines strategic judgment with a hands‑on approach to execution

Candidates should bring at least 15 years of progressive finance experience, including a minimum of five years as CFO or Deputy CFO within a complex, multi-entity organization.

A recognized professional qualification, such as CPA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, is required.

Experience contributing to a full‑cycle ERP implementation is essential, with involvement spanning requirements definition, process design, implementation, go‑live, and post‑implementation optimization.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of IFRS, financial governance, and applicable tax and regulatory requirements, alongside a proven track record in treasury management, structuring credit facilities, and managing banking relationships.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to translate financial insights into clear business decisions.

Full professional fluency in Arabic and English is required.
