Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Channel System Engineer in Riyadh to drive channel-driven cybersecurity outcomes. You will collaborate with partners to demonstrate Fortinet’s technical value, design tailored security solutions, and support deployments across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in security pre-sales, strong architecture and presentation skills, and hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, SIEM, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system engineering, solution architecture, or technical support in cybersecurity/IT.
• Experience in pre-sales with channel partners or VARs.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity products and services (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint security, cloud security).
• Hands-on with network security technologies, system architecture, and protocols.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix, Windows, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Scripting knowledge (Python or Bash) is a plus.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNA Security are a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to translate tech into business value.
• Independent, proactive, and able to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance during partner and customer pre-sales engagements including demos, POCs, and presentations.
• Work with channel sales to design custom security solutions aligned to customer goals.
• Lead channel partner enablement sessions and develop training materials.
• Architect and design security solutions across Fortinet's product portfolio.
• Serve as technical advisor and bridge to internal teams for issue resolution.
• Collaborate with product/R&D and marketing to optimize deployments and create reference content.
