Job summary

Group AMANA is seeking a motivated Camp Supervisor to join our field operations in Saudi Arabia. You will support daily labor accommodation services, safety compliance, transportation coordination, asset management and reporting in line with AMANA standards.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Camp Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in camp supervision within the construction industry, preferable in environments supporting industrial, commercial, or large-scale project operations.

The Camp Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of labor accommodation facilities, ensuring that camp services, safety standards, worker welfare, transportation coordination, asset management, and compliance requirements are effectively maintained in line with AMANA’s policies and minimum accommodation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitors adherence to all internal and external health, safety, and security regulations and reports any violations.
  • Takes action to prevent or resolve safety hazards and continually pursues new developments to improve safety/environment.
  • Ensures all the emergency telephone numbers for FIRE, POLICE & AMBULANCE are identified to all workers residing at the camp.
  • Regularly communicates safety and environmental awareness as a priority.
  • Assists the Camp Boss with the orientation of new employees.
  • Participates in labor committee meetings and suggests action plans.
  • Creates a harmonious environment in the labour camp to accommodate the diversity of the workers, to ensure fairness in treatment and labour motivation.
  • Ensures that all technical equipment is fully functional and coordinates with assigned suppliers for any kind of repair work.
  • Prepares and maintains periodical pre-defined reports and ensures they are timely and accurately updated.
  • Coordinates with subcontractors for wastage/sewerage water disposal/ Maintains the electrical appliances, A/C, etc
  • Ensures that labor transfers between camps are accurately documented.
  • Checks the stock of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the store and distributes it for workers as per Amana standards.
  • Supports the transportation team with labor movement to work sites and back.
  • Maintains and reports the daily records for all workers residing in the camp.
  • Monitors the stock of Personal Protective Equipment in the store and distributes to workers as per AMANA standards.
  • Oversees the daily movement of workers from camp to site and back
  • Prepares, maintains & ensures up-to-date records of Camp Assets.
  • Checks and verifies the compliance of the labour camp with “Amana Minimum Accommodation Standards” on a day-to-day basis and oversees its safety, security, tidiness, and maintenance.
  • Responsible for assuring proper interaction with non-staff residing in camp (implementation of the company policies and procedures at the labour camps, induction orientation, communication and notice boards, etc.).
  • Responsible for room allotment as per Company policy and legal requirements.
  • Identifies and reports all acts of violations to the Camp Lead to ensure discipline and documentation.
  • Responsible for responding appropriately to facility emergencies.
  • Responsible for Monitoring Utilities consumption and maintenance costs to be within set budgets.
  • Monitor and check that all received camp residents are as per the company housing procedure and meet legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates an open-minded approach to understanding and working with people from diverse backgrounds while treating them fairly and consistently with dignity and respect.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in camp supervision, preferably within the construction industry.
  • OSHA or NEBOSH certification is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of camp operations, accommodation standards, health and safety, and facility coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong planning, organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work with diverse teams professionally.
  • Candidate must be a Saudi Talent.
