Role Overview
Reporting to the Business Development Manager (BDM), the Business Development Executive is responsible for generating new sales leads and opportunities with a focus on new clients and projects for RICI in the assigned region or territory. The role also includes business development and marketing tasks for market intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the BDM, coordinators, heads of departments, operations, sales and marketing teams and technical experts.
- Identify, qualify, target and engage with new potential customers to generate leads and opportunities for RICI.
- Implement and maintain business development and sales campaigns, key account plans and key project plans as directed by the BDM.
- Perform sales calls, physical and online meetings, sales visits and emails to achieve targets.
- Visit major projects in the designated region or territory to identify contractors, consultants and end users for introducing RICI services.
- Work with other sales roles in the territory to maximize cross-selling for other departments.
- Own the lead and opportunity generation target for the assigned territory or more than one territory if required.
- Ensure the ERP-CRM system is updated with company records, contact details, leads, opportunities, quotations and other relevant information.
- Support market intelligence and competition benchmarking.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for review with the BD Manager.
- Track service levels and customer feedback.
- Develop and expand executive relationships.
- Participate in exhibitions and events as directed by the BDM.
- Execute any relevant tasks in the territory as instructed by the BDM.
- Comply with and follow the company’s End-to-End Sales Standard Operating Procedure including all policies and guidelines.
