TakeIn is building a field-based Business Development Specialist role in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. You will own the end-to-end sales process—from initial outreach to agreement, onboarding, and ongoing growth of partner restaurants, focusing on established brands and multi-branch accounts.
Work closely with the Head of Operations and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding, device provisioning, and post-launch support.
TakeIn is a food delivery platform on a mission to make food delivery fairer — for customers and for restaurants. We launched in January 2025 in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and are live in production, processing real orders daily. We're hiring across product, engineering, and operations to scale what we've built.
We're building Take In, a food delivery app based in the Eastern Province, and we're looking for a Business Development Specialist to bring more great restaurants onto the platform.
You'll own the relationship from the first conversation through signing, onboarding, and helping the restaurant grow its sales on the app. A major focus will be established brands and restaurant groups, where winning the account takes preparation, persistence, and more than one meeting.
You'll work close to the operations team and see the result of your work in the restaurants that go live and the orders they receive. As we expand, you'll help shape the restaurant offering in each area.
Build a pipeline of restaurants and restaurant groups across the Eastern Province, with particular attention to established brands and priority accounts.
Plan your field visits, reach the right decision-makers, and explain how Take In can help their business.
Own the sales conversation from first contact to agreement. Understand objections, follow up consistently, negotiate terms, and close the contract.
Help each signed restaurant get ready to trade. Train its team, hand over the required device and materials, and coordinate the remaining setup with our internal teams.
Stay responsible for the relationship after launch. Follow up on early performance and help resolve practical issues that stop the restaurant operating smoothly.
Work with restaurant partners on offers and promotions that support their sales on the app.
Keep a clear record of visits, conversations, next steps, and results. Share a daily report so the team can see progress and help unblock deals.
Coordinate with Control and operations on account handovers and issues involving menus, payments, or platform setup.
Experience winning new business through field sales, restaurant acquisition, or a similar role where you personally find, negotiate, and close accounts.
Evidence of restaurants, merchants, or business customers you've signed, with a clear explanation of your part in the deal.
The ability to manage a longer sales conversation with several stakeholders, especially for established brands or businesses with multiple branches.
Confidence speaking with restaurant owners and managers, listening to their concerns, and following through on what you agree.
The organisation to plan a productive day in the field and keep your pipeline and reporting up to date.
A willingness to stay involved after the signature, supporting onboarding and the ongoing relationship.
Readiness to work in the field across the Eastern Province and take responsibility for consistent activity and results.
Restaurant acquisition experience at a food delivery platform.
Existing knowledge of the restaurant market in Dammam, Khobar, and Dhahran.
Experience winning larger restaurant groups or accounts with multiple decision-makers.
A background in restaurant technology, merchant services, or food-service sales.
Experience growing an existing account through promotions, additional branches, or better platform performance.
Your team: You'll report to the Head of Operations and work closely with Control and the teams supporting our restaurant partners.
Your setup: This is a field-based role. You'll organise your day around restaurant visits, meetings, and follow-up.
Your rhythm: The current expectation is 15 field visits a day, an end-of-day report, and a weekly onsite team meeting.
Your scope: You own acquisition, onboarding coordination, and the restaurant relationship. Control handles restaurant finance and administrative platform work.
Your travel: Occasional short trips within Saudi Arabia may be needed to meet a larger brand or close an account.
