Job summary

QIMA is seeking a seasoned B2B sales professional to lead client acquisition and portfolio growth across the Middle East. You will engage importers, distributors, and retailers, tailoring testing, inspection, and certification services to client supply chains.

Fluency in English and Arabic, strong negotiation, and an established GCC network are essential. You will manage your own pipeline, collaborate with operations, and participate in regional events to expand QIMA's footprint.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 3+ years in B2B sales with GCC exposure.
  • Active network of decision-makers at retailers, importers, and brands.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills across cultures.
  • Self-managed with ability to own pipeline with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical thinker with fast learning in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with AI tools or familiarity with AI tech.

Responsibilities

Job Description
  • Build and grow a portfolio of clients across the Middle East, from importers and distributors to retailers sourcing apparel, toys, electronics, and consumer goods globally.
  • Generate new business through inbound enquiries, digital and social channels, referrals, networking, and regional trade fairs and exhibitions.
  • Qualify and nurture prospects through the full sales cycle, tailoring QIMA's testing, inspection, and certification services to each client's supply chain.
  • Grow existing accounts by introducing clients to additional QIMA services and digital tools, including our online quality and compliance dashboard.
  • Track pipeline and account activity in QIMA's CRM, using data and market insight to prioritize the highest-value opportunities.
  • Represent QIMA at regional industry events and build QIMA's profile among Middle East brands, retailers, and trading houses.
  • Partner with QIMA's operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience from proposal through to service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally with exposure to quality control, testing, inspection, certification, or supply chain services.
  • A demonstrable, active network of decision-makers (sourcing, QA/QC, or procurement leads) at retailers, importers, and consumer product brands trading into the GCC.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and close deals across different cultures.
  • Comfortable owning and managing your own schedule and pipeline with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a fast learning curve in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Previous exposure to using AI at work or a strong personal acquaintance with AI Tech.
