Job summary

Parsons is seeking a BIM Manager - Information Management in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, to lead multidisciplinary BIM workflows on major infrastructure projects. You will establish project standards, coordinate federated models, oversee clash resolution, and ensure data quality aligns with client requirements and openBIM frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of dedicated experience in BIM implementation, coordination, and management.
  • Strong experience supporting large infrastructure, building, or international mega-projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Expert knowledge of Navisworks Manage for model federation and clash detection.
  • Strong practical experience with BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Professional BIM certification such as Autodesk Certified Professional is highly desirable.
  • RICS accreditation or another recognized digital construction qualification is advantageous.
  • Detailed knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, model standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Strong understanding of Level of Development and information delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Establish BIM project environments, model templates, libraries, shared parameters, and digital standards.
  • Configure model structures for architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure disciplines.
  • Prepare, implement, maintain, and enforce the Project BIM Execution Plan.
  • Define naming conventions, model breakdown structures, information requirements, and exchange procedures.
  • Verify compliance with approved Level of Development and Level of Information requirements.
  • Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings with designers, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Create and maintain federated coordination models.
  • Perform clash detection and interference analysis using Navisworks Manage.
  • Classify, assign, monitor, and close model coordination issues.
  • Work with discipline leads to resolve design conflicts before construction begins.
  • Confirm that project models use the approved coordinate system, origin, levels, and spatial references.
  • Review model geometry, parameters, classifications, asset data, and metadata completeness.
  • Conduct regular quality control audits of 3D models and model-derived 2D documents.
  • Check drawings, schedules, quantities, and reports extracted from BIM models.
  • Identify incomplete information, duplicate objects, broken links, model errors, and coordination gaps.
  • Review consultant and contractor BIM submissions against project requirements.
  • Issue clear technical comments and track corrective actions through formal review cycles.
  • Oversee the integration of non-graphical information into project models.
  • Support 4D scheduling by linking model elements with construction activities.
  • Enable 5D cost workflows through structured quantity and asset information.
  • Prepare model data for 6D facility management, operations, and asset handover requirements.
  • Manage IFC and COBie information exchanges in accordance with openBIM principles.
  • Administer the Common Data Environment using BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Control model publishing, reviews, approvals, permissions, revisions, and document status.
  • Maintain BIM issue registers, coordination logs, dashboards, and digital delivery reports.
  • Advise project leadership on model maturity, BIM risks, resource needs, and delivery priorities.
  • Provide technical support to engineers, coordinators, designers, and modelers.
  • Resolve software, interoperability, model performance, and data exchange issues.
  • Deliver BIM software training and project-specific workflow briefings.
  • Mentor team members and promote consistent digital delivery practices.
  • Support workflow automation and model checking through Dynamo or similar tools.
  • Coordinate information produced in Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenBuildings, and related platforms.
  • Explain technical BIM processes clearly to clients and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain model review checklists, BIM procedures, standards, and project guidance documents.
