Job summary

SearchPlus HR seeks an ICU Consultant to assume clinical leadership for critically ill patients in a tertiary hospital in Riyadh. You will direct resuscitation, lead a multidisciplinary team, and supervise procedures and rounds to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

The role requires MD/MBBS with fellowship in Critical Care, active board certification, and 3–5 years of independent ICU experience. English and Arabic fluency, plus a competitive tax-free package, are expected.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with accredited residency and critical care fellowship.
• Active board certification or equivalent.
• 3–5 years post-qualification independent ICU experience in a high-acuity hospital.

Responsibilities

• Direct resuscitation, stabilization, and daily management of patients with sepsis, trauma, ARDS and multi-organ failure.
• Oversee advanced life-support modalities including ventilation, CRRT, vasoactive therapies and ECMO (if applicable).
• Perform and supervise emergency and routine invasive procedures (e.g., intubation, lines, chest tubes, bronchoscopy).
• Lead daily rounds, mentor ICU staff and trainees, coordinate critical care delivery.
• Conduct family conferences regarding prognosis, goals of care, and end-of-life decisions.
• Coordinate with surgical, medical, and diagnostic teams to optimize patient care.
