Job summary

Riyadh Care Hospital seeks an experienced ICU Consultant to lead critical care services, oversee patient management from admission to discharge, and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines. The role emphasizes quality improvement, CME participation, and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff.

The ideal candidate will have substantial post-qualification experience, Saudi board certification or equivalent, and a current medical license for the specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school with specialty/subspecialty training.
• Saudi Board / Arab Board or American Board, or Canadian Fellowship, FRCS or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years post-qualification experience.
• Current valid license to practice medicine in the specialty.
• Registration in Saudi Commission of Health Specialties and/or current license to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• Desirable higher qualifications in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care following JCIA standards.
• Lead department quality improvement and CME activities.
• Conduct regular ICU rounds with the team.
• Participate in on-call rota and emergency consultations.
• Supervise junior staff and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Education
