Job summary

Black Pearl Consult, on behalf of a leading healthcare organization in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Consultant Intensive Care / Critical Care Physician to join its clinical team. You will provide senior-level care to critically ill patients and lead ICU management.

The role requires MBBS/MBChB, a postgraduate qualification in Critical Care, consultant-level experience, Saudi SCFHS eligibility, and fluent Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care, Intensive Care Medicine or relevant specialty.
• Consultant-level clinical experience in Intensive/Critical Care.
• Physician must be eligible for SCFHS professional classification at consultant level.
• Valid professional registration/licensing in the country of current practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide Consultant-level assessment and management of critically ill patients.
• Lead the clinical management of patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
• Manage complex medical and surgical critical-care cases.
• Perform and supervise appropriate critical-care procedures.
• Participate in emergency response and resuscitation.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across emergency medicine, anesthesia, surgery and other specialties.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients.
• Participate in clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
