Job summary

Datamatics Technologies in Riyadh is seeking a BI Engineer with 7-9 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions. You will work on data modeling, ETL development, dashboards, and data governance to enable data-driven decisions.

The role requires strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses and cloud platforms. Onsite work in Riyadh with relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-9 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Analytics.
• Strong experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or Looker.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience designing and maintaining Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Dimensional Models (Star/Snowflake Schemas).
• Expertise in ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data quality principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is preferred.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and business teams.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BI Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Business Intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong expertise in data modeling, ETL development, dashboarding, reporting, and data warehousing technologies.
