Job summary

Algoquad is seeking experienced L1/L2 Support Engineers for banking production support in Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will monitor mission-critical banking apps, triage incidents, and ensure high availability across cloud and on-premise environments.

Role requires 4+ years in banking production support, strong GCP/Oracle Cloud/on-prem expertise, and solid RCA skills. On-site, permanent position with immediate joining in KSA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years in banking production support, application support, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with banking application architecture and transaction flow.
• Cloud environments including GCP, Oracle Cloud, and on-premise infrastructure.
• Incident management, ITIL ticketing, fault triage, and issue resolution.
• Monitoring tools and telemetry dashboards such as Splunk/ELK.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving under pressure.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier-1 and Tier-2 application and production support for mission-critical banking systems.
• Monitor real-time application performance, transaction flows, and infrastructure health across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Execute rapid incident management, fault triage, debugging, and issue resolution under SLAs.
• Manage hybrid cloud and on-premise architecture across GCP, Oracle Cloud, and enterprise data centers.
• Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) and problem management to prevent recurrence of production faults.
• Collaborate with software engineering, database administrators, and infrastructure teams.
• Configure, tune, and maintain application monitoring tools, alert thresholds, and dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data privacy, and security standards.
