Job summary

Almarai - المراعي is seeking a Bakery Technologist in the Riyadh region to lead continuous improvement in the Bakery Division. The role focuses on investigating quality and process issues, implementing preventive and corrective actions, and maintaining strict food safety standards across manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in related fields and 1-2 years of industrial baking experience, with HACCP, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 or Internal Auditor certifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Bakery Science, Chemistry, Microbiology.
• 1-2 years of experience in industrial baking and/or food manufacturing operations.
• Must have HACCP, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000, and/or Internal Auditor certification.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and awareness of ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 and AIB requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives in the Bakery Division by investigating quality and process issues.
• Monitor performance to ensure consistent product quality and food safety; apply preventive and corrective measures.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Bakery Technologist To plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives in the Bakery Division by investigating quality and process issues, implementing preventive and corrective measures, and monitoring performance to ensure consistent product quality and food safety.

Candidate must meet the following criteria to be shortlisted:

• Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Bakery Science, Chemistry, Microbiology.
• 1 -2 years of experience in industrial baking and/or food manufacturing operations
• Must have HACCP, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000, and/or Internal Auditor certification.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality systems (GMP, HACCP) and awareness of ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 and AIB requirements
