Job summary

Client of Visuna seeks experienced Backside Pump Operators for oilfield operations in Saudi Arabia. You will safely operate and monitor backside pumping equipment, assist with rig-ups/rig-downs, and ensure readiness of gear for daily wellsite tasks.

You must perform inspections, track parameters, report faults, and follow HSE standards while coordinating with supervisors and engineers on a multinational crew. Rotation and outdoor work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating high-pressure pumping equipment is preferred.
• Previous pumping operation experience in oilfield or well services.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to work as part of a multinational crew.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor backside pumping equipment safely and efficiently during wellsite operations.
• Assist with rig-up and rig-down of pumps, lines, hoses and associated equipment.
• Conduct pre-job inspections and ensure all equipment is ready for operation.
• Monitor pump pressures, rates and operating parameters throughout the job.
• Identify and report equipment faults, leaks or abnormal operating conditions.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance as required.
• Follow approved operating procedures, risk assessments and permit-to-work requirements.
• Maintain accurate job equipment and pressure records.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers and other wellsite crew members.
• Support wellsite operations and other duties as required by the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Comply with company, client and Saudi Arabian HSE requirements.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Backside Pump Operators to join our team working on oilfield operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of pumping equipment supporting wellsite activities and ensuring equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with company procedures and HSE standards. Previous experience with SLB Schlumberger will be considered a strong advantage. Day rate for this position will be 180.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor backside pumping equipment safely and efficiently during wellsite operations
• Assist with rig-up and rig-down of pumps lines hoses and associated equipment
• Conduct pre-job inspections and ensure all equipment is ready for operation
• Monitor pump pressures rates and operating parameters throughout the job

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pump Operator / Backside Pump Operator within the oilfield or well services industry.
• Experience operating high-pressure pumping equipment is preferred.
• Good understanding of oilfield equipment, pumping operations and wellsite safety.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multinational crew.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to work rotational schedules in Saudi Arabia.
• Valid passport and ability to obtain the necessary Saudi Arabian work visa and medical clearance.
