Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance in Saudi Arabia seeks a professional Training Instructor with deep H145 maintenance experience to lead technical instruction and hands-on training for maintenance technicians.

The role requires an educational diploma in aircraft maintenance, formal instructor qualifications, and proven ability to develop OJT curricula, create training aids, supervise new technicians, and ensure compliance with PSS/GSAC policies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Diploma in Aircraft maintenance specialty or recognized aviation training program (Minimum 2 years).
  • Licensing: EASA Part 66/ FAA License is preferred.
  • Technical Experience: 5+ years in H145 maintenance (military or civilian).
  • Instructional Experience: 3+ years as a Technical Instructor.
  • Type Rating: H145 type rating by approved OEM organization.
  • Curriculum Development: Experience in developing and instructing OJT curricula for technicians.
  • Training Aids: Experience creating charts, graphs, handouts, slides for training.
  • Supervision & Administration: Supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations; record-keeping per policies.
  • Technical Writing: 3 years in a technical writing role preferred.
  • Specialty Qualification: Level-7 in logistics, maintenance, and training preferred.
  • Certification: Instructor qualification/course certificate from a recognized organization.
  • Language Proficiency: IELTS 6.0+ or equivalent; English evaluated in interview.
  • Software Skills: Proficient with MS Office and office automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver OJT curricula for fresh and advanced technicians.
  • Supervise and evaluate new maintenance trainees during sessions.
  • Create and maintain training records in line with policies; use MS Office.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, handouts, and slides to support courses.
  • Assess trainees and ensure compliance with security and qualification requirements.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience


  • Education: Minimum Diploma in Aircraft maintenance specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field/specialty (Minimum 2 years).


  • Licensing: EASA Part 66/ FAA License is preferred.


  • Technical Experience: Minimum 5 years proven experience (Military or Civilian) in H145 Maintenance.


  • Instructional Experience: Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Technical Instructor.


  • Type Rating: Type rating in H145 by an approved organization from the OEM.


  • Curriculum Development: Experience in developing and instructing OJT (On-the-Job Training) curriculum in the respective field for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.


  • Training Aids: Experience in developing teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.


  • Supervision & Administration: * Experience in directly supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.



    • Conversant with Microsoft Office Suite to maintain training records in adherence to PSS/GSAC policies and procedures.




  • Technical Writing: 3 years in a technical writing position is preferred.


  • Specialty Qualification: Preferred to be qualified as a Level-7 in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training.


  • Certification: Must have an instructor qualification/course certificate from a recognized organization.


  • Language Proficiency: * For non-native speakers, a minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is required.



    • Alternatively, English language skills will be evaluated during the PSS/GSAC interview.




  • Software Skills: Have working knowledge of office automation tools such as MS Office.



Mandatory Requirements


  • All requirements and information in the CV must be proven by a copy of an official document.


  • Pass the PSS/GSAC interview (attended physically or online).


  • Pass the security clearance from the KSA government.
