Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Arabia is seeking an experienced instructor for avionics and maintenance training. You will develop curricula, deliver instruction, and supervise technicians during evaluations. Strong MS Office skills and a formal instructor qualification are required.

The role targets professionals with hands-on H145 maintenance experience and proven teaching abilities in a fixed-term capacity within Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Diploma in avionics or equivalent aviation training program (min 2 years).
• EASA Part 66 / FAA license preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience on H145 (military or civilian).
• Minimum 3 years as a technical instructor.
• Type rating in H145 by OEM-approved organization.
• Experience in developing and instructing OJT curricula for technicians.
• Experience developing training aids (charts, slides, handouts, etc.).
• 3 years in a technical writing position preferred.
• Level-7 qualification in logistics, maintenance or training preferred.
• Instructor qualification/certificate from a recognized organization.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• Maintain training records using MS Office in line with PSS/GSAC policies.
• Develop and update training curricula and teaching materials.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Education

Minimum Diploma in avionics specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field/specialty (Minimum 2 years).

Licensing

EASA Part 66/ FAA License is preferred.

Technical Experience

Minimum 5 years proven experience (Military or Civilian) in H145 Maintenance.

Instructional Experience

Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Technical Instructor.

Type Rating

Type rating in H145 by an approved organization from the OEM.

Curriculum Development

Experience in developing and instructing OJT (On-the-Job Training) curriculum in the respective field for both fresh maintenance technicians and advanced maintenance technicians with experience.

Training Aids

Experience in developing teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.

Supervision & Records

• Experience in directly supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• Conversant with Microsoft Office Suite to maintain training records with adherence to PSS/GSAC policies and procedures.

Technical Writing

3 years in a technical writing position is preferred.

Specialty Qualification

Preferred to be qualified as a Level-7 in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training.

Certification

Must have an instructor qualification/course certificate from a recognized organization.

Language Proficiency

English language level (listening, speaking, reading & writing) at a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native speakers. Otherwise, English proficiency will be evaluated during the PSS/GSAC interview.

Software Skills

Working knowledge of office automation tools such as MS Office.
