Job summary

Nascom is seeking a Storekeeper to manage inventory of automotive spare parts, lubricants, consumables, tools and workshop materials, ensuring availability and accurate records. You will receive, inspect, issue, and record items, maintain organized storage, monitor stock levels, and prepare reports using ERP/CMMS systems.

Requirements: high school diploma or related field; previous experience in an automotive spare parts warehouse or maintenance workshop.

• Familiarity with inventory control and stock management practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify spare parts and materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Issue spare parts, lubricants, tools, and consumables to technicians per approved requests.
• Record all receipts, issues, returns, and transfers in the inventory system.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and systematic warehouse.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare replenishment requests when required.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Workshop Manager to ensure timely availability of required parts.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions before issuing/receiving items.
• Use ERP/CMMS to maintain accurate stock records.

Job Summary

Responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling the inventory of automotive spare parts, lubricants, consumables, tools, and other materials required for workshop operations. The Storekeeper ensures the availability of required materials, accurate inventory records, and proper storage and handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify spare parts and materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Issue spare parts, lubricants, tools, and consumables to technicians based on approved requests.
• Record all material receipts, issues, returns, and transfers in the inventory system.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and systematic manner.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare replenishment requests when required.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Properly label and identify all spare parts and materials.
• Ensure proper storage of lubricants, batteries, tires, chemicals, and other workshop materials.
• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete spare parts.
• Coordinate with the Workshop Manager and technicians to ensure timely availability of required spare parts.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions before issuing or receiving items.
• Record and control damaged, defective, and returned spare parts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels according to workshop requirements.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Department and suppliers regarding material deliveries.
• Use ERP / CMMS / Inventory Management Systems to maintain accurate stock records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, and health and s
