Job summary

Catrion in Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled aviation logistics supervisor to oversee flight provisioning, assembly and on-time loading according to production plans. You will coordinate with Assembly, Transport, and VIP teams to ensure compliant procedures and accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flight provisioning and assembly to meet loading/production plans.
• Coordinate with Assembly, Transport, Beverages, Kits, Tray Setting, Equipment, and Food Packing sections for smooth operations.
• Ensure food load sheets and security checklists are completed and signed.
• Monitor and communicate changes in procedures, standards, and instructions from authorities; update staff accordingly.
• Assign staff to assemble flights on deadlines and verify flight readiness.
• Ensure only authorized items are dispatched and security checks are completed.
• Provide assistance to VIP Cell as advised by Supervisor Assembly and support shifts with proper handover.

Job description

• Ensures immediate action in case of change of aircraft and new set ups.
• Monitors the telex printer all the times and takes appropriate action.
• Keeps himself and other staff well informed and up to date with the changes in DIFOS, packing list or any instruction received from Saudia/Foreign Airlines as regards to standards and packing patterns are strictly followed.
• Keeps proper record of all documents.
• Ensure that all staff are well informed of the changes in procedures and standards and actions all extra jobs assigned through IOCs/Emails.
• Ensures proper shift handover with Logbook and briefing to the in-coming shift Senior Foreman regarding various aspects of operation.
• Responsible for assigning staff to assemble flights on deadlines and checks the flights if required.
• Ensures that all provisioning, assembled for flights are as per loading/production plan.
• Ensures that food load sheets and security check lists are prepared and signed by individuals checking the flights.
• Ensures immediate action on up-catering requirement.
• Coordinates with Supervisors Assembly and Transport regarding availability of transport.
• Coordinates with Beverage, Kits, Tray Setting, Equipment, Food packing Sections for smooth functioning of assembly.
• Ensures that only authorized items are dispatched on flights and security checklists are duly completed.
• Ensures that required assistance is provided to VIP Cell as and when advised by Supervisor Assembly.
• Checks up-catering items very carefully before dispatching the same to aircraft.
