Job summary

Catrion in Riyadh is seeking a seasoned head to manage the food chemistry testing laboratory, overseeing all activities, and preparing the annual plan while supervising the execution team. This role demands leadership to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

You will lead GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC, and IC analyses of food, pesticides, and packaging, while establishing new methods for food and beverage testing and maintaining ISO17025 compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical analysis of food and beverages.
• Familiarity with ISO17025 accreditation requirements.
• Ability to prepare annual budgets for the Laboratory.
• Proven skills in supervising laboratory personnel and operations.
• Coordination with regulatory bodies such as SASO, SFDA.

Responsibilities

• Manage all activities in the food chemistry testing laboratory.
• Prepare annual plan, supervise the team and execution plan.
• Conduct GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC, IC analyses of food, pesticide and packing.
• Establish new chemical analysis methods for food/beverages.
• Review records and reports; ensure data integrity and interpretation.
• Prepare yearly laboratory budgets and monitor resources.
• Maintain calibration programs and quality management per ISO17025.
• Coordinate with government agencies; promote training and development.

Job Description:

• Dealing with GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC, IC analysis of food, pesticide and food packing.
• Establish of new chemical analysis of food and beverages.
• Assist for the management of the Laboratory requirements.
• Supervision of all Chemical Analysis activity verify the results and interpret the result.
• To review all Records and Reports.
• Preparation of Yearly Central Laboratory Budgets requirements.
• Manage reporting, monitoring, resources, and laboratory personnel.
• Keeping abreast with the Latest Developments in Chemical Laboratories worldwide.
• Creating training plan and determine of training needs.
• Work closely with team members to provide effective solutions to support business and quality objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication across internal departments by trending and reporting data.
• Establish and improve procedures and processes by addressing issues and risks.
• Establishes and maintains a calibration program for testing equipment that affect quality result and P.T. program for testing Methods.
• Establish and perform of quality management system to comply with ISO17025 accreditation.
• Coordination with local Government Agencies like SASO, SFDA, etc.
• Establish training plan and determine of training needs.
• Utilize proven employee management solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
