Job summary

Namaa is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-site execution of food service and quick-serve infrastructure projects in Riyadh. You will manage contractors, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with designs, codes, and safety standards.

The role requires 5–7 years in construction management with at least 3 years in F&B/restaurant construction, strong budgeting, and stakeholder management. Join a dynamic, fast-growing Middle East tech-enabled infra group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5-7 years in construction management, with at least 3 years in Food & Beverage or restaurant construction.
• Proven experience managing BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and costing across Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Gas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction from start to finish, ensuring compliance with specs, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams for on-site execution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local/international building codes, safety, and quality standards.
• Lead site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve issues and apply value engineering.
• Oversee HSE standards and maintain safe work environment.
• Manage project reporting, including progress updates and risk assessments.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedules.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and align construction with goals.

What you’ll do

• Oversee the construction, execution, and delivery, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of works on-site.
• Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
• Lead site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks, ensuring adherence to approved designs and specifications.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement value engineering solutions.
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
• Manage project reporting, including progress updates, risk assessments, and resource planning.
• Review and approve contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and work schedules.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and ensure alignment of construction activities with project goals and client expectations.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years spent in Food & Beverage or restaurant construction
• Proven experience managing BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and costing across various scopes (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Gas).
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards.
• Hands-on experience in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage large teams, contractors, and client interactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or GoogleDocs, and construction management software.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts, project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), and quality control processes.
• PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is essential
