Job summary

Diaverum is seeking an Assistant Head Nurse in Jeddah to support the Head Nurse in staff management, patient care supervision, and quality assurance. You will contribute to accreditation readiness and uphold high clinical standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferable.
• Certification in BLS (ACLS preferable) and strong leadership skills.
• Proven ability to supervise clinical staff and oversee patient care quality.
• Experience with risk management and accreditation readiness is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Role

The Assistant Head Nurse plays a key leadership role in supporting the Head Nurse to ensure safe effective and high-quality clinic operations The role contributes to staff management patient care supervision quality and patient safety education competency follow-up audit action plans and accreditation readiness Through effective communication clinical oversight and active staff support the Assistant Head Nurse helps maintain professional standards strengthen team performance and promote Diaverum s True Care culture in daily practice You will report to the Head Nurse and work closely with clinic staff clinic mentors and the Country Nursing Manager

What you will help us build

You will support daily clinic operations and help the Head Nurse maintain a high standard of patient care across the team Your responsibilities will include Support staff selection scheduling and orientation for new employees Counsel employees and advise the Head Nurse on appropriate actions Supervise and evaluate patient care through rounds and quality assurance projects Monitor safety cleanliness and equipment standards in the clinic Support audit action plans and Risk Management implementation Identify learning needs and support ongoing staff development What matters most is consistency Staff and patients rely on you to follow through every shift

Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with real hands-on experience in dialysis nursing and clinical leadership What we need Registered Nurse with a Bachelor s degree in Nursing a Master s degree is preferable Certified in BLS preferably with ACLS certification Strong leadership and management skills communication skills clinical expertise problem-solving and decision-making abilities monitoring and education skills administrative skills emotional intelligence and resilience Experience in the following areas will help you succeed Supervising or mentoring clinical staff Leading quality assurance or patient safety projects Coordinating with multi-disciplinary medical teams Managing clinic-level reporting and documentation Experience in multi-site organization
