Job summary

Duruper seeks an Asset Inventory & Site Survey Lead to drive asset verification and field surveys across multiple operating areas. You will validate physical asset information against SAP/Maximo/GIS registers, engineering drawings, nameplates and maintenance records to ensure accurate inventories and hierarchies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in asset inventory, site surveys or asset data management in transmission/substation environments.
• Experience with transmission and substation asset registers, field verification and asset hierarchy management.
• Working knowledge of engineering drawings, equipment nameplates and GIS/EAM data reconciliation.
• Experience in survey planning, asset identification, data validation and discrepancy management.
• Awareness of ISO 55001 asset management principles.

• Identify missing, duplicate, obsolete and unregistered assets.
• Maintain a controlled discrepancy register and coordinate resolution with technical/site teams.
• Ensure accurate field data capture with photos, documentation and survey records.

The role involves validating physical asset information against existing SAP/Maximo/GIS registers, engineering drawings, nameplates and maintenance records to ensure accurate, complete and reliable asset inventories and hierarchies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop asset survey protocols, data collection templates, tagging rules and evidence requirements.


• Plan and coordinate site surveys, sampling and coverage across four operating areas.


• Reconcile field observations with SAP/Maximo/GIS registers, engineering drawings, nameplates and maintenance history.


• Verify asset details, including identity, location, manufacturer, model, serial number, voltage/current ratings, commissioning year, configuration, operating status, accessories and parent-child hierarchy.


• Identify missing, duplicate, obsolete and unregistered assets.


• Maintain a controlled discrepancy register and coordinate resolution with relevant technical and site teams.


• Ensure accurate field data capture, supporting photographs, technical documentation and survey records.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or diploma.
