Job summary

Dar Al Dawa Development & Investment Co. is seeking a qualified Architectural Engineer to join our Riyadh team.

You will prepare and review architectural drawings, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure compliance with Saudi building codes and project requirements. The role requires a Bachelor's in Architectural Engineering or Architecture, 2+ years of experience, and registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• Saudi Nationals are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, layouts, and design specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, contractors, and stakeholders for project execution.
• Support construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects.
• Review technical drawings and contractor submissions for compliance with designs.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and adherence to budgets.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with plans and regs.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi building codes and safety requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and progress updates.
• Identify challenges and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Support evaluation of contractors, suppliers, and proposals related to architectural works.

Dar Al Dawa is seeking a qualified and motivated Architectural Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting architectural projects and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural drawings, layouts, and design specifications for company facilities and projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
• Support the planning and implementation of construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects.
• Review technical drawings, material specifications, and contractor submissions to ensure compliance with approved designs and requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, timelines, and adherence to approved budgets.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that architectural works comply with approved plans and applicable regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi building codes, relevant safety requirements, and applicable engineering standards.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates as required.
• Identify design or execution challenges and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Support the evaluation of contractors, suppliers, and technical proposals related to architectural works.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• Saudi Nationals are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Valid professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Good knowledge of architectural design principles, construction practices, and Saudi building regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant architectural design software; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred.
