Job summary

Buruoj Engineering Consultant is seeking an Architect with strong design development experience for a full-time, office-based role in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will lead architectural design from concept through detailed design and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams within a BIM environment.

Responsibilities include preparing architectural drawings, creating 3D models in 3ds Max and SketchUp, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in architectural design and design development.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs through all project stages from concept to detailed design.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and documentation using Revit within a BIM environment.
• Coordinate with municipalities, local authorities, and other relevant governmental entities to obtain design approvals, address review comments, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and permitting requirements.
• Create high-quality 3D models and visual presentations using 3ds Max and SketchUp.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code and relevant municipal regulations.
• Coordinate architectural work with other disciplines including structural, MEP, and planning teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide architectural input to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor design progress and ensure timely delivery in alignment with project schedules.
• Assist in reviewing material submittals, mockups, and architectural detailing.
