Job summary

REEF GROUP | مجموعة ريف is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to prepare, update, and review technical drawings for retail branches and construction projects in Riyadh.

You will ensure accuracy of architectural and execution drawings, support engineering and construction teams, and maintain consistent drawing standards across projects. Strong AutoCAD skills and bilingual communication are essential for coordinating with consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in technical drawings or architectural drafting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and prepare architectural and technical drawings.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with engineering, design, and construction teams.
• Experience reviewing consultant or contractor drawings is preferred.
• Experience preparing As-Built drawings is highly preferred.
• Training or knowledge in engineering drawing and plan reading.
• Strong Arabic and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary and detailed technical drawings for branches and construction projects.

• Support project handover with As-Built drawings after completion.
• Maintain drawing revisions, records, and technical documentation.

Reef Group is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Architectural Draftsman to prepare, update, and review technical drawings for retail branches and construction projects.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of architectural and execution drawings before implementation, supporting engineering and construction teams, and maintaining consistent drawing standards across projects and branches.

The ideal candidate should have strong drafting skills, excellent attention to detail, and practical experience in AutoCAD, architectural drawings, technical detailing, and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary and detailed technical drawings for branches and construction projects.
• Update drawings for existing branches based on project and operational requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with approved design standards and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and relevant teams to revise drawings when required.
• Prepare technical reports highlighting required modifications and drawing updates.
• Organize, maintain, and archive technical drawings within the approved system.
• Prepare detailed execution drawings for interior elements, including display units, fixtures, and special fittings.
• Review drawings submitted by consultants and contractors and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Standardize technical drawing templates and maintain a consistent drafting approach across branches and projects.
• Coordinate with Design and Construction teams to resolve conflicts between architectural and execution drawings.
• Support project handover by preparing and updating As-Built drawings after project completion.
• Maintain accurate drawing revisions, records, and technical documentation.
• Support technical coordination during project execution and ensure drawing-related issues are addressed effectively.
• Ensure drawings are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Technical Drafting, Architectural Drafting, or an equivalent field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in technical drawings, architectural drafting, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong ability to prepare and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Good understanding of execution drawings and interior detailing.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, design, and construction teams.
• Strong file organization and technical documentation skills.
• Experience reviewing consultant or contractor drawings is preferred.
• Experience preparing As-Built drawings is highly preferred.
• Training or practical knowledge in engineering drawing and architectural plan reading.
• Strong Arabic and English communication skills.
