Job summary

Lean is seeking a Customer Support Intern to dive into client issues on financial APIs, learn from senior engineers, and contribute to proactive TechOps monitoring. You’ll triage API problems, document solutions, and help shape client-facing guides while expanding your technical depth.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/SE/IS with API exposure, SQL basics, and fluent Arabic; curiosity, ownership, and clear technical writing are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in CS, SE, IS, or related field.
• Hands-on experience calling APIs, ideally with Postman.
• Basic SQL: select queries with filtering, joins, and aggregation.
• Able to read logs and follow code in at least one language.
• Fluent or native Arabic speaker.
• Understanding of client-server systems and OAuth.
• Proven initiative: side projects, hackathons, or fixes.
• Clear technical writing to explain problems and fixes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client issues via Plain, Slack, MS Teams and email with senior team when needed.
• Investigate and triage API and product issues using Elasticsearch, SQL, Postman, and internal panels.
• Escalate bugs and feature requests with clear context to engineering/product.
• Create documentation from recurring issues: FAQs, runbooks, client guides.
• Shadow incident response and on-call rotations to learn production handling.
• Run basic QA during triage to classify bugs vs config/client-side issues.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on proactive monitoring and dashboards.
• Provide feedback to improve AI support for easier tickets.
• Identify gaps in support processes and propose fixes.
