Job summary

Lean Technologies, Ltd. is seeking a Software Engineering Intern in Riyadh to contribute to real enhancements in our financial infrastructure.

You will work across Java Spring Boot services on Kubernetes, with AI-assisted development using Claude Code and a generous usage quota, guided by an experienced mentor. The program is designed as a path into a full-time engineering role, offering hands-on production code and collaboration with a cross-functional team on high-impact projects in the MENA

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience using agentic coding tools (Claude Code) as part of workflow.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python or similar language and fundamentals (version control, testing, debugging).
• Demonstrated side project, hackathon, open-source contribution, or prior internship.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug software enhancements from ticket to production under mentor guidance.
• Use Claude Code to improve quality and velocity of work while maintaining control of releases.
• Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback to peers.
• Learn team tools, languages, and workflows quickly to ship early in the internship.
• Join stand-ups, planning, and reviews and flag risks to timelines.
• Develop understanding of clients, end-users, and the regulatory environment.
