Job summary

Lean Technologies is seeking a Customer Support Intern to dive into real client issues as our financial APIs integrate with client systems. You’ll join a small, collaborative team and learn how monitoring and alerting are built, with opportunities to extend it if you show depth.

You’ll respond to client issues via Plain, Slack, MS Teams and email, investigate API problems with Elasticsearch, SQL and Postman, and document solutions for FAQs and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate in CS/SE/IS or related field.
• Hands-on API experience, preferably with Postman.
• Basic SQL: select queries with filters, joins and aggregation.
• Ability to read logs and follow code in at least one language.
• Fluent or native Arabic speaker.
• Understanding of client-server systems and OAuth.
• Evidence debugging a project or hackathon.
• Clear technical writing; explain problems and fixes to non‑experts.
• Ownership: stay with an issue until resolved.
• Interest in fintech, payments, or open banking.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client issues via Plain, Slack, MS Teams and email, often on calls with senior team members.
• Investigate and triage API and product issues using Elasticsearch, SQL, Postman, and internal admin panels.
• Escalate bugs and feature requests with enough context.
• Turn recurring issues into documentation: FAQs, runbooks, or client guides.
• Shadow incident response and on‑call rotations.
• Run basic QA testing during triage to classify issues.
• Work with senior support engineers on proactive monitoring and take on scoped improvements to alerts or dashboards.
• Provide feedback to tune our AI support agent.
• Flag gaps in our support processes and propose fixes.
