Manpower Resources India P Limited a leading Executive Search company offers services in Power Steel Infrastructure Oil amp Gas Cement Engineering space To manage and drive end-to-end Plant HR operations while partnering with the Plant leadership team to ensure workforce effectiveness employee engagement manpower planning statutory compliance and smooth industrial relations
Key Responsibilities
- Act as HR Business Partner for the plant work closely with plant heads and functional managers to align HR practices with business operational needs.
- Handle day-to-day employee issues on the shop floor grievances discipline conflict resolution and employee counselling.
- Drive employee engagement activities on the plant floor to improve morale and reduce attrition.
- Support and manage IR Industrial Relations matters in coordination with the HR Head where applicable.
- Partner with plant leadership on manpower planning workforce deployment and productivity-linked HR initiatives.
- Coordinate performance management processes for plant employees goal setting appraisals and feedback.
- Drive HR system technology usage HRMS SAP-HR or similar for attendance leave payroll inputs and employee records.
- Prepare HR MIS and dashboards headcount attrition absenteeism and other people metrics for plant leadership.
- Support recruitment for plant-level positions in coordination with the central HR talent acquisition team.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements applicable to the plant.
- Drive training and skill development initiatives for plant employees in coordination with L amp D.
- Be the first point of contact for employees on HR policies processes and queries at the plant.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a plant/manufacturing environment, working directly with shop-floor employees.
- Strong exposure to handling employee issues, grievances and floor-level HR matters.
- Engineering background with an MBA able to understand plant operations and connect HR initiatives to business outcomes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work across shop floor and management levels.
- Strong problem-solving approach and ability to work independently on ground.
- Basic understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance applicable to plants.
Educational Qualification
MBA HR or equivalent qualification.
Experience
5-7 years of relevant HR experience, with a strong track record of working as a Plant HR Business Partner and handling employee issues directly on the shop floor.
