Egis, a leading international engineering group, seeks a Mechanical Design Lead to join its Jeddah team. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire protection design for airport infrastructure, lead engineers, and ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code and international standards.

You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with architects and electrical engineers, and drive BIM-based modeling from concept to construction documents while delivering accurate, timely results on complex

Formación

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in MEP mechanical design.
• Direct airport/aviation or large-scale infrastructure project experience preferred.
• Expertise in BIM modeling and coordination; clash detection.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and designers on airport projects.
• Develop comprehensive mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems in airport environments.
• Manage the mechanical design phase from concept through construction documentation.
• Coordinate with architects and electrical engineers to ensure integrated, clash-free designs.
• Utilize BIM and design software to create detailed models and construction documents.
• Ensure designs comply with Saudi Building Code and international standards.
• Conduct design reviews and quality assurance checks for accuracy.
• Prepare technical specifications, calculations, and design reports for airport projects.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to address design challenges.
• Monitor timelines and budgets while maintaining design excellence.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in MEP design.
