Job summary

Daikin Middle East & Africa seeks an Engineering Manager for Air Handling Units (AHU) to lead engineering for AHU design, BOM optimization, and NPI across Sudair and Riyadh operations. You will bridge Sales, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive efficiency and quality.

The role emphasizes engineering accuracy, standardization, and cost optimization while ensuring compliance with Daikin standards and HVAC regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in AHU application engineering, design, R&D and technical product support.
• Proven experience in product development, order engineering, and NPI management within HVAC manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of AHU design, HVAC systems, psychometrics, manufacturing processes, and international HVAC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development initiatives aligned with market requirements and Daikin standards.
• Manage industrialization and factory implementation of new AHU products and enhancements.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure successful product launches.
• Drive value engineering to improve performance, manufacturability, reliability and cost competitiveness.
• Support product certification activities and compliance with regional and international HVAC standards.
