Job summary
Daikin Middle East & Africa is seeking an Engineering Manager for Air Handling Units (AHU) at the Sudair industrial city near Riyadh. You will lead engineering activities, optimize BOMs, standardize components, and drive NPI and product development initiatives to meet Daikin quality, cost, and delivery goals.
The role acts as a technical bridge between Sales, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain, striving for manufacturable designs, recycled costs, and continuous improvement across
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 10+ years in AHU application engineering, design, R&D, and technical product support.
- Experience in product development, order engineering, and NPI in HVAC manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of AHU design, HVAC systems, psychometrics, and standards.
- Experience with ERP, BOM management, AutoCAD, and documentation systems.
- Understanding manufacturing processes for AHUs.
- Leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and factory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review orders to ensure technical completeness and manufacturability.
- Lead BOM preparation and validation for production execution.
- Align engineering outputs with factory standards and lead times.
- Establish engineering review processes to minimize errors.
- Drive component standardization across AHU lines.
- Lead product development and NPI aligned with strategy.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for successful product launches.
- Improve manufacturability and cost competitiveness.
- Maintain technical documentation and revision control.
