Job summary

V2X is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance technician to perform AH-64E maintenance in Saudi Arabia, following OEM manuals and safety standards. You will prepare aircraft for inspections, diagnose subsystems, and execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions with precision.

Required are an Associates degree (Bachelor's preferred), FAA A&P and IA certificates, 3 years AH-64E experience, and 5 years total aviation maintenance, plus valid U.S. driver’s license and passport.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • FAA A&P certificate indicates required maintenance credentials.
  • FAA IA certificate indicates additional certification eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures AH64-E Aircraft maintenance activities are planned, coordinated, and aligned to readiness objectives.
  • Complies with maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports for situational awareness of readiness rates.
  • Establishes daily maintenance goals and priorities to achieve readiness and training objectives.
  • Oversees daily maintenance management of assigned aircraft supporting the Production Control Manager.
  • Maintains quality control processes and standards in maintenance operations.
  • Directs inquiries and research related to aviation maintenance for the PC Manager.
  • Coordinates with Aviation Manager for maintenance operations support.
  • Ensures maintenance operations are conducted safely; supports DART processes as needed.
  • Performs duties with significant autonomy and selects methods to achieve goals.

Performs aircraft maintenance tasks on the AH-64E as required using the specific OEM Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and any other directives pertinent to the environment. Removes and installs aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies and components including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Services and lubricates aircraft systems, subsystems, and components. Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions. Uses common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures. Performs aircraft and related components routine and special inspections. Performs maintenance operational checks. Diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Prepares aircraft maintenance forms and records. Conducts MNG OJT training as required. Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures that AH64-E Aircraft maintenance functional activities and procedures among designated organizations are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness objectives.
  • Responsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform readiness rates.
  • Establishes daily maintenance operational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated readiness rates and MNG training objectives as required.
  • Oversees the daily maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Production Control (PC) Manager.
  • Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Directs inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of AH64-E Aircraft and supporting maintenance activities to the PC Manager.
  • Coordinates activities and requirements for maintenance operations support with the Aviation Manager.
  • Coordinates through management for daily and weekly maintenance training activities.
  • Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.
  • In coordination with the PC Manager, supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes and procedures.
  • Other tasks as directed by the PC Manager.
  • Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods.
  • Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • As a condition of employment in Saudi Arabia, all candidates must successfully complete the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Qualification Verification Program (QVP) to ensure eligibility for visa processing and employment authorization.
  • Must have U.S drivers license and Passport.
  • Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include medical, drug testing, background checks, etc.
  • Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance in the AH64 E aircraft
  • FAA A&P certificate.
  • FAA IA certificate.
Experience Requirements:
  • Three (3) years’ experiences as an aircraft mechanic on AH 64 series and five (5) year's total experience in aviation maintenance.
