Job summary

Solventum seeks a Saudi Arabia based Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer to design, configure and validate secure healthcare integrations. You will work with EMR vendors, HL7, FHIR, and APIs to deliver interoperable solutions that meet customer needs and industry best practices.

Remote in Saudi Arabia with up to 50% travel may be required; you will collaborate with customer IT teams and internal stakeholders to enable go-live readiness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in health informatics, CS, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years of healthcare tech implementation, integration, or production support experience.
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards and working with healthcare IT stakeholders.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, etc.).
  • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver secure, scalable integrations between Solventum solutions and customer systems using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other standards.
  • Conduct technical discovery to understand environments, workflows, and integration requirements; translate into implementation approaches.
  • Configure Solventum solutions to meet customer operational and clinical needs; balance requirements with best practices and maintainability.
  • Lead validation activities, support testing and go-live readiness, and ensure smooth deployment and transitions.
  • Serve as escalation point for technical issues and drive continuous improvement with internal and customer teams.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As our Saudi Arabia based Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Interoperability & Integration Delivery

Design and deliver secure, scalable integrations between Solventum solutions and customer healthcare systems. Work directly with customer IT teams, EMR vendors, and third-party providers to define, configure, validate, and troubleshoot interfaces using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other interoperability standards.

  • Technical Discovery & Solution Design

Conduct technical discovery activities to understand customer environments, infrastructure, workflows, and integration requirements. Translate business and technical needs into practical implementation approaches that align with product capabilities and established delivery patterns.

  • Solution Configuration & Technical Enablement

Configure Solventum solutions to support customer-specific operational and clinical requirements. Ensure implementations are delivered in accordance with best practices, while balancing customer expectations, technical constraints, and long-term maintainability.

  • Validation, Testing & Go-Live Readiness

Lead technical validation activities to ensure configured solutions and integrations perform as intended. Support testing, defect investigation, issue resolution, and deployment readiness activities to enable successful customer go-lives and smooth operational transitions.

  • Advanced Technical Support & Continuous Improvement

Serve as an escalation point for technical issues during and after implementation. Partner with customers, support teams, product management, and other Solventum teams to diagnose problems, identify root causes, implement sustainable solutions, and drive continuous improvement across products and delivery practices. Capture implementation knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned, and share expertise with support, engineering, product management, and implementation teams to improve delivery quality, operational readiness, and customer outcomes across the organization.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience AND 5+ years of experience implementing, integrating, supporting, or delivering healthcare technology solutions, including experience working with healthcare interoperability standards, customer technical stakeholders, or healthcare information systems in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Experience implementing enterprise software solutions in healthcare environments
    • Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Altera, Meditech, or equivalent systems.
    • Experience with interface engines, integration platforms, and familiarity with SaaS deployments, cloud-hosted solutions, networking fundamentals, or identity management concepts.
    • Experience supporting technical discovery, requirements analysis, solution configuration, testing, validation, go-live readiness, and production support activities.
    • Ability to perform root cause analysis, document implementation knowledge, and share lessons learned with support, engineering, product management, and implementation teams.
    • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
    • Professional working proficiency in Arabic, including the ability to communicate with customer technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience working directly with customer IT teams, technical stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 v2.x, FHIR, APIs, and data exchange workflows.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across applications, integrations, and infrastructure components.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and priorities in a dynamic environment.
