InterContinental The Red Sea Resort on Shura Island is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage supplier invoices, payments, and records with accuracy and timeliness.

You will coordinate with Purchasing and Receiving, ensure PO matching, reconcile statements, prepare reports, and assist month-end close while adhering to hotel policies and confidentiality.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Accounts Payable or similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
• Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Receive, review, and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documents.
• Process invoices and payment requests in accordance with company policies and established procedures.
• Ensure all invoices are properly approved and supported by purchase orders, delivery notes, and other relevant documents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and financial documentation.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies or outstanding balances.
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing, Receiving, and other relevant departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices, payment status, and account-related inquiries.
• Prepare accounts payable reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of invoices, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing the required financial records and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial information.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Job Purpose The Accounts Payable is responsible for managing the hotel's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and financial records. Requirements

• Experience with accounting software or hotel financial systems is an advantage.
