Job summary

InterContinental The Red Sea Resort is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage supplier invoices, supporting documents, and timely payments. You will maintain AP records and assist in month-end processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role requires strong numerical and analytic skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with hotel financial systems or accounting software. Collaboration with Purchasing and Receiving is essential to resolve discrepancies and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in hotels or resorts.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and AP procedures.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications; familiarity with hotel financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices with supporting documents.
• Process invoices and payment requests per company policies.
• Ensure invoices are approved and supported by POs, delivery notes, etc.
• Maintain up-to-date AP records and documentation.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies or outstanding balances.
• Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Receiving to resolve invoice issues.
• Prepare AP reports and assist month-end closing.
