• Experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in hotels or resorts.

• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications; familiarity with hotel financial systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Maintain up-to-date AP records and documentation.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies or outstanding balances.
• Monitor payment schedules to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Receiving to resolve invoice issues.
• Prepare AP reports and assist month-end closing.

Accounts Payable - InterContinental The Red Sea Resort, Shura Island

Job Purpose The Accounts Payable is responsible for managing the hotel's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and financial records. The role supports the Finance Department by maintaining proper documentation, monitoring outstanding payments, reconciling supplier accounts, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documents.
• Process invoices and payment requests in accordance with company policies and established procedures.
• Ensure all invoices are properly approved and supported by purchase orders, delivery notes, and other relevant documents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and financial documentation.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies or outstanding balances.
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing, Receiving, and other relevant departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding invoices, payment status, and account-related inquiries.
• Prepare accounts payable reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of invoices, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing the required financial records and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial information.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role, preferably within a hotel or resort environment.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
• Good numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with accounting software or hotel financial systems is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality when handling financial records.
