Job summary

NALCO An Ecolab Company invites applications for an Account Executive - PT in the Purolite group. The role focuses on revenue and profit growth through consultative sales, strong account leadership, and long-term relationships with a broad customer base in the Saudi Gulf region.

You will engage in on-site visits, project assessments, and marketing initiatives to promote Purolite ion exchange resins while delivering technical support and solutions across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
• 1+ years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience.
• 1+ years of experience related to well service stimulation is preferred.
• Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience.
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Autonomy and self-motivation with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Contacting and visiting customers for at least 75% of time to meet budget targets.
• Control expenses in accordance with the budget.
• Complete orders with all necessary information prior to processing.
• Propose marketing strategies to promote Purolite and ion exchange resin sales.
• Provide technical support to convert contacts into regular customers.
• Calculate projects and plant optimization.
• On-site intervention and audits at industrial sites for optimal resin use and resolving issues.
• Participate in technical seminars for water treatment.
• Propose solutions to commercial and technical problems before and after sales.
• Improve market intelligence on competition.

Account Executive PT Nalco an Ecolab Company has an immediate need for an Account Executive - PT - in our Purolite group. This is your opportunity to join a large growing company offering a competitive base salary bonus structure and benefits. You will be primarily responsible for revenue and profit growth of Nalco. You will be required to take a consultative sales approach with a primary emphasis on strong account leadership skills and retention of strategic Nalco accounts. In addition you must build long-term relationships with a large customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs and selling new technologies.

What You Will Do

• Contacting and visiting customers and prospects for at least 75% of his working time to at least achieve the agreed budgeted targets

• Propose marketing strategies to promote the Purolite brand and the development of the sales of Purolite ion exchange resins to customers and prospects
• Provide technical support in the marketplace to convince contacts to become regular customers
• Calculation of projects and plant optimization
• On-site intervention and audit on industrial sites for the optimal use of resins and the settlement of any operating difficulty
• Participate in technical seminars for water treatment
• Propose the best solutions to commercial and technical problems encountered by helping before and after sales
• Improve market intelligence regarding the competition in terms of people, strategies, pricing, share per segment

Position Details

• Area of operation: Water and Non-Water sectors in Saudi and the Gulf
• End users: OEM, Main Contractors and Service Companies and specialized Traders
• Main mission: To develop sales of Purolite ion exchange resins in the areas mentioned above
• Reporting to: Regional Manager Purolite Middle East, Non-Water Sector
• Coverage: Chemistry, Petrochemicals, Hydrometallurgy, Mining, Food, Pharmaceutical
• OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
• 1+ years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
• 1+ years of experience directly related to well service stimulation business preferred
• Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
• High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
• History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
• Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
• Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
• Account leadership experience that includes calling on multilevel plant or facilities management to accomplish company goals
• Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask
