Job summary

UN News is seeking an Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Vertiports Expert to evaluate and review vertiport standards, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance within the aviation infrastructure. You will study design standards, charging systems, and ground movements while supporting certification and operation.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years of aviation experience, exposure to ICAO standards, and strong English communication skills; Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, airport management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in aviation with ICAO standards exposure.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review vertiport standards for safety and quality.
• Develop regulations and procedures for AAM vertiports.
• Coordinate with developers and operators to verify compliance.
• Support vertiport certification and operation processes.
• Prepare reports and analyses for management.
