About the Job:

A BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordinator with over 12 years of experience in Qatar typically holds a senior position, overseeing the integration and management of BIM processes across various projects. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of BIM methodologies, advanced proficiency in BIM software, and a proven track record in coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

What You Will Do:

1. Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies, ensuring alignment with project goals and industry standards.
2. Supervise and mentor BIM teams, fostering collaboration among architects, engineers, and contractors to achieve cohesive project outcomes.
3. Establish and enforce quality control procedures for BIM models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
4. Utilize advanced BIM tools to identify and resolve conflicts within models, facilitating efficient design and construction processes.
5. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding BIM-related matters, providing expert guidance and addressing concerns.
6. Conduct training sessions to enhance the BIM capabilities of team members and stakeholders.
7. Oversee the preparation of detailed BIM documentation and reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping and effective communication.

What You Will Need:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 12 years in BIM coordination, with substantial experience in large-scale projects within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Civil 3D. Experience with additional tools like Synchro, Solibri, or Infraworks is advantageous.
4. Relevant certifications in BIM or related areas are preferred.
5. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
