Job summary

Tanqeeb, a technology services company, seeks a Software Project Management Specialist to bridge business and IT and lead IT projects. You will coordinate resources, manage budgets and scope, and drive detailed project plans with stakeholders across the organization.

You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, conduct risk management, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer engineering or related field.
• PM certification PRINCE2 or PMP is required.
• ITIL knowledge is a plus.
• Experience managing ERP software projects.
• 5+ years in software project management.
• 5+ years in business analysis and process development.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
• Ensure projects delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Use verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule and costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to the PMO lead and management as needed.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Identify, define, and document key processes and business requirements.
• Create Use Cases for business applications and translate requirements into technical specs.
• Facilitate structured Root Cause Analysis, Requirements and Brainstorming sessions.
• Translate measurement results into technical specs.
• Lead improvement teams to analyze business processes and identify efficiencies, controls and integration points.
