Job summary

Kempinski Hotels in Doha is seeking an Assistant Reservations Manager to lead the reservations team and oversee inventory, booking flows, and pricing decisions. You will implement daily rate changes and stay controls, collaborating with the Director of Revenue Management to optimize occupancy and revenue across PMS, CRS, and OTA channels.

The role requires steering the reservations department, coaching agents, and ensuring accurate data entry and reporting while maintaining strong guest service

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in hotel reservations; 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with Opera PMS, CRS, and channel managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day reservations operations and lead agents.
• Manage inventory, booking flows, and shift schedules.
• Execute yield strategies and distribution controls with the Director.
• Supervise and train agents on procedures and upselling tactics.
• Coordinate escalated guest inquiries and complex bookings.
• Ensure data accuracy and revenue reporting standards.
• Maintain connectivity between PMS, CRS, OTAs, and channels.
• Monitor rate parity across OTAs and metasearch channels.
• Prepare daily pickup reports and pace updates.
