Personal Assistant to the Business Development
The role supports the Business Development Manager by managing administrative and office-related tasks, handling communications, coordinating travel, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all office-related issues, requirements, and administrative work for the Manager.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing emails, correspondence, and telephone calls, ensuring proper translation where needed.
- Coordinate the Manager’s travel arrangements: bookings, travel forms, expense follow‑up, and transmission to the accounting department.
- Organize administrative filing and referencing procedures.
- Welcome visitors, maintain good public relations, and ensure a positive experience.
- Prepare press reviews as requested by the Manager.
- Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
- Proactively identify priorities, emergencies, and important issues related to day‑to‑day business needs.
- Ensure all secretarial and administrative activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate, timely files for the Manager.
- Manage the Manager’s agenda: schedule tasks, coordinate meetings, and prepare meeting materials.
- Take minutes, type memos, letters, and emails in English, and maintain proper archival records.
Qualifications
- Office Management or Business Administration degree/diploma from an internationally recognized institution.
- Five or more years of progressively responsible professional experience in a secretarial or administrative role.
