The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort in Doha is seeking a DemiChef de Partie - Pastry to join the pastry team. You will assist in daily preparation, production of pastry and bakery items, and ensure quality, presentation, and portion control according to hotel standards.

You will maintain HACCP compliance, manage mise-en-place, and support colleagues across sections during peak service, events, and buffets. The role emphasizes hygiene, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of basic pastry and bakery preparation techniques.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices, food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and occupational health and safety.
• Basic knowledge of pastry ingredients, recipes, equipment, and food storage procedures.
• Good communication, teamwork, and guest relations skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Chef de Partie-Pastry in daily preparation and production of pastry and bakery items according to hotel standards.
• Prepares mise-en-place and ensures all ingredients and equipment are ready for production.
• Prepares cakes, pastries, desserts, breads, and other bakery products according to recipes and instructions.
• Ensures consistency in the quality, taste, presentation, and portions sizes of all pastry products.
• Follows instructions and recommendations from senior chefs to complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Ensures compliance with HACCP, foodsafety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety standards.
