Job summary

The Luxury Collection in Doha seeks a skilled baker to prepare breads and pastries, following recipes, maintaining quality and safety standards. You will review production sheets, monitor temperatures, and ensure proper use of baking equipment while preserving a positive team atmosphere.

Your role includes assisting with hiring, training, and coaching staff, upholding food safety policies, and modeling professional behavior. This is a full-time position at our luxury hotel in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related work experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads and pastries daily following recipes and standards.
• Review production sheets to plan varieties of baked goods.
• Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
• Check temperatures and ensure proper use of baking equipment.
• Monitor quality and portions served throughout shift.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, coaching staff.
• Follow safety policies and protect company assets and confidentiality.
• Serve as a department role model and mentor.
