Job summary

Kempinski Hotels in Doha, Qatar is seeking a dedicated Purchase Executive in the Purchasing department. You will handle order entry, supplier coordination, and liaison between orders and demand, ensuring timely delivery and accurate records.

The role requires at least 2 years of purchasing experience in luxury hotels and strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills. The position is permanent and full-time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a purchasing position, preferably in an international luxury five star hotel.

Responsibilities

• Manage department contract and purchasing requests.
• Establish, update and maintain departmental files and records.
• Create databases, perform data entry, participate in purchasing projects by researching or providing relevant information; prepare reports accurately and within the allowed time frame.
• Authorize payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
• Liaison with the accounting department to reconcile invoices and purchase orders.
• Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
• Provide purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Adhere to Hotel's Employee rules & regulations.
• Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
• Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
