Job summary

Kempinski Hotels SA in Doha is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage the day-to-day AP function at Marsa Malaz Kempinski - The Pearl, Doha.

This role ensures timely payments, proper accounting, and compliance with Qatar regulations, while supporting month-end closing and process improvements. You will lead AP staff and coordinate with Procurement, Receiving, and F&B to uphold luxury hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years finance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in a luxury 5-star hotel.
• Proficiency in hospitality ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
• Familiarity with Qatar banking procedures and tax regulations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and cross-department collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle from invoice matching to payment execution.
• Verify vendor invoices for accuracy, proper authorization, correct GL coding and cost center allocations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs via corporate banking platforms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with Kempinski policies, USALI, and Qatar regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including AP aging analysis.
• Maintain audit trails for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Receiving, and F&B to align invoicing with goods/services.
• Train AP Officers/Clerks and identify process improvements.
