Job summary

Kempinski in Doha is seeking a Purchase Executive to support the Purchasing department with order entry, supplier coordination, and data management. The role involves liaising with internal teams and suppliers to maintain pricing, delivery schedules, and accurate records.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years in purchasing within international luxury hospitality, with strong organizational and communication skills, and a professional approach to confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a purchasing position, preferably in an international luxury five-star hotel.

Responsibilities

• Manage department contracts and purchasing requests.
• Establish, update and maintain departmental files and records.
• Create databases, perform data entry, and support purchasing projects by researching or providing relevant information; prepares reports accurately and within the allowed time frame.
• Authorize payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
• Liaison with the accounting department to reconcile invoices and purchase orders.
• Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
• Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• To understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel's Employee rules & regulations.
• To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
• Performs any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.
• Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
